Refund Policy

This policy covers registrations purchased through this site, operated by the Asia Tea Alliance (“ATA”, “we”, “us”) for the EU – Asia Tea: Trade, Trust and a Low-Carbon Future summit and related ATA events. As registrations are for event attendance rather than physical goods, there is no shipping, exchange, or product-return process — refunds are handled as described below.

Cancelling your registration

If you can no longer attend, email info@nucleus.lk as soon as possible with your order details. Refund eligibility depends on how far ahead of the event you cancel:

• 14 or more days before the event — full refund, less any payment gateway processing fees already incurred.
• 7–13 days before the event — 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days before the event, or no-shows — not eligible for a refund, as catering, materials, and venue capacity are committed by this point.

Transferring your registration

Instead of a refund, you may transfer your registration to a colleague at no charge. Email us the new attendee's full name, email, and any other registration details before the event so we can update the ticket and delegate list.

If we change or cancel the event

If ATA cancels an event, or makes a material change such as moving it to a different city, registered attendees are entitled to a full refund regardless of the cancellation-window rules above. Minor changes (e.g. a shift in the daily schedule, or a change of venue within the same city) do not qualify for a refund.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout, normally within 7–14 business days of approval. Processing times beyond that point are determined by your bank or card issuer, not by us.
